Polly
Ligon Sullivan
Principal/Lead Counselor
As principal and lead counselor to Ready Inc.’s clients, Polly Ligon Sullivan develops enterprise-wide crisis preparedness solutions and trainings that inspire confidence, as well as the culture and communications infrastructure needed to anticipate, prepare for and manage issues and incidents. Polly has over 25 years of experience in journalism, public relations and crisis planning.
She served as a lead architect and developer of the U.S. dairy industry’s crisis response program. She has led more than 50 crisis drills and developed plans for companies in a variety of industries including dairy, eggs, fertilizers, industrial cleaners and cosmetics. Polly grew up on a dairy farm in South Carolina and continues to be fascinated by and dedicated to the dairy industry.
She has a B.S. in agricultural communications, a M.S. in agricultural economics, and recently earned a post-graduate certificate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery from the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health.


Maryanne
O'Dowd
Consultant
Maryanne is a 30-year veteran of public relations and reporting. She helps clients prepare for and address stakeholder audiences in times of disruption through crisis preparedness and strategic communication. By identifying vulnerabilities that could become the focus of unwanted attention, she develops issues management strategies and messages to help get ahead of a story before it becomes fodder for news and social media.
During nearly 20 years at leading global PR agencies, she worked alongside top executives to help promote and protect enterprise and brand reputations for many well-known companies and trade organizations including Harley-Davidson, Pepsico, Dairy Management Inc., MilkPEP, Kraft, Butterball, ALDI, McCain Foods, and McCormick & Company and many others. She also served as director of public relations for the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) where she counseled and trained association leaders and spokespeople to handle hot-button nutrition issues in the news.
Maryanne holds a B.A. in journalism from Columbia College and was a John Fischetti scholar in the school’s masters of public affairs reporting program. She has taught graduate-level public relations at Roosevelt University.


John
DeAngelis
Consultant
John DeAngelis delivers expertise in multi-level response exercises and crisis training, honed during a 25+ year career with the US Navy. Throughout his career, which included service on the USS Cole and USS New York, he saw firsthand the importance of preparation, teamwork and decisive leadership when dealing with emergencies and catastrophic events.
He now helps Ready Inc.’s clients increase their readiness to respond to crises swiftly and effectively under pressure, focusing on risk identification, response team development, incident management and procedural training. John’s work allows client companies to go beyond managing incidents to learning how to build a crisis management capability within an organization.
John is recipient of numerous military awards and honors and is a certified master training specialist and an enlisted surface warfare specialist.


Dr. Rebecca
Domzalski, CBCP
Consultant
Rebecca creates training protocols for Ready Inc. clients that develop employees’ leadership skills and build their understanding of company policies and procedures. She brings deep experience in strategic planning, emergency response training and training methodology to a wide range of projects
and initiatives.
During a 25-year career with the US Navy, Rebecca led multinational exercises for homeland defense and trained thousands of individuals in catastrophe prevention and response including the staff and crew aboard nuclear aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). She holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and Foresight from Regent University and degrees from United States Naval War College, Chapman University and Southern Illinois University. She is a Certified
Business Continuity Professional, an American Heart
Association (AHA) CPR instructor and a First Care
Provide (FCP) Stop The Bleed instructor.



Consultant
Angela
Seutter
Angela Seutter brings more than a decade of project management discipline and media and community relations expertise to Ready Inc. She implements best practices and innovative solutions across the firm’s client portfolio. Previously, Angela worked at Weber Shandwick, leading media/analyst relations and executive visibility projects for clients including Microsoft, Honeywell, Best Buy and the Internal Revenue Service.
Angela has executed high-profile events — from trade show dinners to new facility openings, and secured B2B and B2C media coverage on a variety of issues — to help clients achieve business goals. Earlier in her career, she was an associate producer and writer for NBC News, MSNBC and MSNBC.com in New York and London. Angela is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Texas Christian University with a B.A. in journalism and history.
